Whether you need a place to invest your assets, get your retirement plan back on track or just get once off advice … we can help.

Our fees are dependent on the type of services we provide you. At Seed you don’t pay for something you don’t need. You also don’t pay for a service that you can do yourself.

Before we get to the hard numbers here are some facts:

  • Seed does not charge commission on investment products;
  • Seed does not charge initial fees;
  • Seed credits all rebates from investment managers back to its clients
  • Seed is completely transparent with all fees

Now for the hard numbers.

Here are your choices:

Invest on your own with appropriate calculators, resources and other tools

Why not do your own analysis online with our tools and then invest in funds that will compliment your investment strategy?

Size of investments: Anything from R10 000 upwards as an initial portfolio or R500 per month contribution

Seed’s initial fee: 0% 

Seed’s ongoing fee: Between 0.75% - 0.80% per annum redeemed directly from the portfolio. If you invest directly into the Seed Flexible Unit Trust at Metropolitan then there is no additional administration fee. If you already have an account with Equinox (www.equinox.co.za) or if you prefer to invest in one of Seed's other portfolios on the Equinox platfrom then a minimal 0.3% p.a. administration fee will be levied. 

What are the services for this fee?

  • Seed provides you with premium online software that you can use to do your own retirement and risk analysis
  • Seed provides you with premium funds to invest in that will compliment your long term retirement strategy
  • Seed manages your portfolio on an ongoing basis
  • Seed reports back to you on a monthly basis with any changes we made during the month

Invest on your own

Get once-off guidance with little cost and with no further obligation

Get some expert advice on a once off basis and be charged on an hour basis as opposed to a high commission basis. One of our highly skilled investment professionals will advise you on your portfolio. It will be either an actuary, chartered accountant or CFA designated investment professional.

Size of investments: Not applicable

Seed’s fee: We charge a once off flat fee from R2 500 with no further obligation. This fee is based on the number of hours we will be advising.

Once off advice

Get ongoing advice from dedicated investment professionals

Why not use Seed’s investment professionals to give you advice on your portfolio and to provide ongoing management of your portfolio.

Size of investments: R1.5m upwards

Seed’s initial fee: 0%

Seed’s ongoing fee: A sliding scale from between 0.5% and 1% p.a. depending on the size of the investment. For larger portfolios we will agree a performance related fee if that is the client’s preference.

What are the services for this fee?

  • Seed assesses your current investment and risk products
