Seed is owned by its management and is a registered financial services provider from the Financial Services Board (FSB) of South Africa. Seed assists professionals, business owners, retired individuals and high-net-worth individuals in being excellent stewards of their wealth based on biblical principles.

While most investors drive decisions from fear and greed, with natural adverse consequences, we believe instead that investors’ wealth should be managed on the following principles:

  • Ensure that the long term investment objective is well defined … you know what the goal is.
  • Ensure that you have a clear investment strategy how your objective will be reached. This allows you to understand the risks involved.
  • Invest the underlying assets in a well diversified portfolio … don’t allow your assets to be concentrated … not having all your eggs in one basket.
  • Invest in growth orientated assets that will beat inflation over the long term.
  • There are no short cuts to increasing your wealth … instead the portfolio should be managed on an ongoing basis.
  • Avoid investing in high risk fads; rather aim to benefit from the opposite principle of giving a certain amount of excess to a charity.

Seed’s vision is to be recognised as one of the most trusted stewards of personal wealth.

Seed’s mission is to consistently add value to our client’s wealth, by endorsing, encouraging and applying:

  • The biblical principle of investing
  • Integrity in all relationships
  • Excellence across investment management and service delivery

The management and staff of Seed is a proud signatory to the ITN "Unashamedly Ethical (Africa)" campaign. Alongside other African business people, professionals and employees, we pledged the following:

  1. To be ethical, operating in the highest integrity to produce and deliver quality products and services, including.
